Tips For Starting Your Health Coaching Business in 2023

Happy New Year from the team here at Flowell! It’s 2023 which means that there’s a whole new year ahead that’s filled with possibilities and opportunities. And if you’re here reading this, that probably means that you’re ready for a change and want to take the leap into starting a health coaching career!

Firstly, congratulations! We’re so glad you’re here!

Here are some tips on how to get started with launching your business and making 2023 your year.

Discover your niche

The first step you need to take in creating your health coaching business is to hone in on your niche! What do you want to specialize in? What area did you get your coaching certification in? Another great way to discover your niche would be to look for areas that need to be filled in your community (we actually wrote a blog that covers this more in-depth!).

Create a plan

No business can start without a plan in place! During this process, it’s important to create your mission and vision for your business, a marketing strategy, a financial plan, and a growth plan. While some of these plans may change and adapt over time, it’s important to establish them in the beginning as a foundation for your business. Without a business plan, everything is more likely to fall through the cracks and lose its direction.

Never stop learning

One of the best tips we can give you as you embark on this journey in the new year is to never stop learning and educating yourself. The healthcare industry is constantly evolving and offering new tips and discoveries. Research what additional training is out there and learn about different techniques or marketing strategies. Always keep an open mind!
